As the representative scenic spots, Daming Lake and Weishan Lake can complement each other in tourism resources which are the prerequisite for the match-making of both sides. Daming Lake is a Cultural Lake being famous for its spring clusters and long historical and cultural foundations; Weishan Lake, the Natural Lake, occupying an area of 1,266 square kilometers, is the largest fresh water lake in northern parts of China. Moreover, the white lotus of Daming Lake and red lotus of Weishan Lake are two tourism resources popular with tourists.
According to their cooperative framework, the two lakes will jointly host Lotus Festival, dragon boat race, osprey performance and professional fishing performance and jointly issue post card. In addition, the innovation of both marketing models is also an important aspect for cooperation.
