On the Morning of March 8, Journey Collection the Photography Show of National Geographic China opened in China Lishui Photography Museum and this show will last until April 15.
National Geographic (China), first published in February 2001, is the first geographic and tourist magazine that displays diverse culture of China. Since its formal copyright cooperation with National Geographic of America in July 2007, it carries forward the over-120-year philosophy of National Geographic: exploring the world and caring for the earth. It provides the elites of China with fantastic reading materials that reflect the changes of the world through the striking and professional photographic works and in-depth reports in it. As a sole copyright partner of National Geographic magazine in mainland China, it enables more and more foreign readers to know about China through a large number of photographic works on splendid indigenous subjects.
This exhibition held in China Lishui Photography Museum displays nine finest photographic subjects published in National Geographic (China) in 2010 and 2011, including 105 works such as Choice of Alaska, Serenade of Whooper Swans, Opium War and 7 Billion Years from both National Geographic (China) and National Geographic of America. These works reveal authentic human culture through differentiated and diversified themes, striving to present the freshest humanistic and scientific information to readers. It is hoped that works of different styles and expressions in distinct photographic languages can bring more visual shocks to readers.
