Zhejiang NPC deputies file 78 bills

12 a.m. on March 9 was the deadline for proposals for the Fourth Session of the Eleventh National People s Congress. The deputies of Zhejiang delegation had filed 78 bills in total to the Office of Bills of the Secretariat of NPC, 14 bills more than last year, which continued ranking the top in terms of the number of bills among the delegations from different regions, cities and provinces. Before the session, by studying the principles of the 17th CPC National Congress earnestly and concentrating on the overall interests of the work of the entire Party and the government, Zhejiang deputies to the NPC conducted investigations respectively in different places and listened to the opinions and requests of ordinary people extensively and prepared carefully a batch of high-quality bills to propose suggestions or advice with great efforts for the layout of the 12th Five Year Plan, with a focus on issues such as accelerating the change of economic development mode; strengthening and innovating social management; constructing harmonious employment relationships; improving and guaranteeing people s livelihood. Among these bills, there are 35 bills of economic laws, accounting for 44.9% of the total; 21 bills of political laws, 26.9% of the total; 22 bills of social administrative laws, 28.2% of the total. There are 42 bills for the formulation of laws, and 36 bills for the amendment of laws.
