The annual World Consumer Rights Day is around the corner. Hangzhou Consumer Protection Committee notified yesterday the situation of consumers complaints of the whole city in the year of 2010. The Municipal Consumer Protection Committee received 10378 cases of counseling, accepted 4538 cases of various complaints, with a 99% of resolution of complaints and retrieved financial loss of 5.3 million yuan for consumers. The complaints about the quality of products still ranked first, followed by the complaints about securities, prices, measurements, fake advertisements and marketing contracts.
