Focusing on creating ecologic dominance in the future, Jiangyin has taken a lead in coming up with the idea of building non-developed regions instead of concentrating on GDP blindly. So far, about 200 km2 (one fifth of the total area of Jiangyin) of land in the southern part of Jiangyin has been mapped out as non-developed regions.
The sustainable development system with regional features is being built up, making room for the development in the "12th Five-Year Plan" and the future. In this picture, aigrettes were whirling about in the non-developed region of Shuangjing Village in Yuecheng Town.
