High-power LED chip packaging house Edison Opto has introduced a series of high-power LED lighting components, the EdiPower II, which offers customized solutions based on different client demand.
EdiPower II is developed for LED luminaires and bulbs, and allows customization in total power, operating current and driving voltage for more flexibility in circuit design, the company said, adding that it allows 120lm/W in maximum luminance. The series includes 4-6W, 5-15W, 16-24W and 30-50W models.
Edison reported NT$2.596 billion US$85.212 million in revenues from January through October 2010, up 91.17% on year. Net profit for the first three quarters came to NT$440 million or NT$5.70 a share. The company expects LED lighting to contribute 72% of 2010 revenues and overall revenues to rise 40-50% in 2011.
