2010 China (Zhongshan) Southern Green Fair & 1st China Renowned Aquatic Festival opened in Southern Green Expo Garden, Guzhenzhen Town yesterday. Its scale is the largest ever featuring new highlights such as wonder stones, aquarium fish, brocarded carp auction, etc. With the theme of harmony between human and nature , the fair displays the glamor of green industry in Zhongshan.
At present, flower seedling industry has become a driving force of agricultural development in Zhongshan where the overall planting area reaches 5300 hectare with over 1 billion annual output, which makes Zhongshan one of the largest flower seedling distributing centers in Souch China. With green corridor along Guzhen-Shenwan Highway as the linkage, primary planting in Western and Southern Guangdong as well as neighboring provinces as the resource supply, CSGF as the trading platform, Southern Green Expo Garden as the carrier, green industry in Zhongshan is striding towards large scale, industry cluster and famous brand.
In the opening ceremony, China Brocarded Carp Association and Innovative Garden Design Demonstration Base in Southern Green Expo Garden were inaugurated, some R&D and garden design projects were signed. Besides, prizes such as New Quality Tree Species and Best-shaped Trees in 16 Townships were awarded.
