2010 Guangdong-Macao Joint Cooperation Conference was held in Macao yesterday. The two leaders, Huang Huahua, Guangdong Provincial Governor, and Cui Shian, Chief Executive of Macao Special Administrative Region addressed speeches on the meeting. The two sides signed cooperation contracts as Memorandum on Guangdong-Macao cooperation framework , Memorandum on Guangdong and Macao s cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine industry base and Guangdong and Macao tourism cooperation agreement.
Since 2009 the two sides has been seizing the new opportunities provided by national strategies of Program for Reform and Development of the PRD Region and Hengqin Overall Development Plan. Owing to the pragmatic and effective cooperation, the two sides have fought against the international financial crisis successfully, and have made achievements on various fields as economy, social works, and livelihood.
