Guangzhou residents can now apply locally for a tourist visa to visit Spain. Previously, such visa applications by Guangzhou residents needed to be sent to Beijing and those who were selected were forced to at their own cost to travel to and from Beijing for a visa interview. GZL Europe Sector General Manager Huang Jingru, said that a tourist visa for Spain usually takes seven working days to process and the total period will exceed 14 business days plus the time of express post to Beijing and return.
