EgyptAir Airlines Company officials announced on December 1 that direct Guangzhou-Cairo flights would begin from December 16.
According to Egypt Air officials, there will be four round-trip non-stop Guangzhou-Cairo flights every week, shortening flight time to 9 hours and 45 minutes, about 3 hours shorter than the previous flights that stop over in Bangkok.
"For over 3 years since 2007, there have been tens of thousands passengers from South China taking Egypt Air to Egypt, the Middle East and different places in Africa, said Amr Sami, Eygpt Air's Guangzhou and South China Manager.
