Guangdong Province will budget over 180 billion RMB in financial revenues for improving people's livelihood, 140 billion RMB of which would be spent on public services, accounting for 77.64 percent of the total provincial budget, provincial officials announced last week.
"About 10 billion RMB would be spent on the social security, 20 percent more than last year," said one CPPCC member from Guangdong.
"The province will spend more financial resources on improving people's livelihood and developing social career this year," said one Provincial Department of Finance member.
