Two kindergarten teachers and an accomplice in Foshan, Guangdong province, were recently sentenced to six months in prison with a one-year reprieve for making a hoax call over a bomb alert at the school after their salaries were cut.
The pair made the call on June 5, when a children's talent show was taking place and the school was crowded. Police immediately evacuated the building and launched an investigation, which led to the trio.
The Nanhai district court ruled that the three were guilty of deliberately fabricating and spreading terror.
