On 1st September, Vice President Wu Jiang met the delegation from French Senate led by Mr. Jean BESSON, President of its Sino-French Friendship Association. He made an brief introduction of Tongji, it s disciplinary development, international cooperation, social service, etc. He also gave an overall introduction on the city planning of Shanghai.
The French side spoke highly of the concept of the city planning and its successful implement. Both Chinese and French sides express the willingness to enhance the exchange and communication in the future on this topic.
