President of University of Waikato Visits Tongji

On October 28th, Prof. Dong Qi, Vice President of Tongji University met a delegation of University of Waikato led by Prof. Roy Crawford, the President and Dr. Ed Weymes, the Vice President.

Prof. Dong Qi introduced the historical development, discipline features and international exchange and cooperation of Tongji University. Both parties showed strong interests in building partnership and strengthening communication in the fields of law research, and environmental engineering and science.

The two parties signed a cooperation agreement during the meeting. Prof. Shan Xiaoguang, Dean of Law School, and Prof. Li Fengting, Vice Dean of UNEP Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development and the University of Waikato delegation discussed in detail about Dual Master Degree of environmental law, scientific cooperation in water treatment and short-term student or staff exchange.
