On November 11, the establishment of Tongji University Italy Alumni Association was announced in Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy. Professor Fang Shouen, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Tongji, presented the Alumni Association banner to representatives of the Association in Italy. Tongji signed a collaboration memorandum the next day with Ca' Foscari University of Venice on interdisciplinary studies including innovative management, sustainable development and cultural heritage preserve, and urban planning administration.
