Chinese Government publishing the first white book emphasize especially that Chinese medicine and traditional medicine is features and advantages of china physic and science and it also is a important part of chinese excellent culture. Chinese government attaches importance to the effect on prevention and health care of Chinese medicine. Chinese Government institutes a series of administrative code and policy and continues to perfect the supervision of Chinese medicine promoting the quality of Chinese medicine steadily.

China adopt on compositive measures to strengthen management of Chinese medicine materials and protect the resources of heredity. Strengthen excellent choice and cultivation of Chinese medicine and from the source to enhance the quality of Chinese medicine.

Since the end of 2007, there are 48 companies through GMP certification of Chinese medicine materials and 343 companies through GMP certification of Chinese medicine pieces.

The white book also point out that State Drug Supervision Administration should develop the communication and cooperation actively among many countries. China had cooperated with many countries and areas such as U.S.A, Canada, French, the European Union, Italy, Australia, Singapore and Thailand and so on obtaining important results. There are 20 varieties of Chinese medicine enter into the catalogue of French herbal medicine handbook and seven standards enter into French pharmacopoeia, four standards through the recommendation of French entry into European pharmacopoeia.
