China Deep-Ocean Submarine Fiber Optical Cable Top Seminar Was Held in Beijing

On 24th Oct,2007 , "China Deep-Ocean Optical Fiber Cable Top Seminar" hosted by China Institute of Communications , undertaken by Zhongtian Technology Co., Ltd and Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Co.,Ltd was successfully held in Beijing Diaoyutai.The seminar pointed out that in view of China's national brands of deep-ocean submarine fiber optic cable ,the cables own reasonable structure, doubling improvement of crush resistance and production fully equipped with specializing in deep-sea fiber optic cable, also has formed capacity of mass production. Superior performance of Water blocking of cable cores meet the requirements of 5000m under water; they already reached advanced levels of international Submarine fiber optic cable. The Chinese have full capability and strength to make them "go out" and make contributions to the world's telecommunications industry.

The seminar includes three parts: opening ceremony, lectures and special symposium. Song Naiqi ,Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Institute of Communication, presided over the opening ceremony; Tang Boyang ,the vice director of telecommunications project Engineering Technology Committee of Chinese Institute of Communications, presided over lectures and special symposium.

Zhongtian Technology successfully developed deep-sea fiber optic cable not only to fill the gap in our country, but also break the market monopoly controlled by Western transnational giants. They provide the choices for important communication operator to participate in building and maintaining of the international SOFC system, also give new capabilities for China's ocean resources development and maintenance of sea power. Now, we need much stricter requirement with the R & D and application of deep-ocean fiber optic cable ,it is the purpose we held the top seminar ".
Han Jun, The deputy director, pointed out in the speech that Zhongtian Technology got more harvest in the independent innovation and have kept in the leading position in this industry. In recent years, they obtained lots of national scientific and technological achievements, we should learn from them. Zhongtian Technology SOFC passed the national wide appraisal this morning, it is of great significance. This afternoon, we will make special symposium about this national deep-ocean SOFC brand. It will have a big influence on our communications system, exportation, participation in international competition and promoting industrial development.
