The U.S. ITC delegation visited Guangdong Shengyi

On 29th October, 2010, a 4-person-delegation headed by Chief Legal Counsel of the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), Mr. James M. Lyons, was accompanied to have a visit to Guangdong Shengyi by Mr. Xia Xiang, Deputy Investigation Commissioner of Ministry of Commerce, Bureau of Fair Trade, Mr. Chen Lipeng, Director of Bureau of Fair Trade, Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Guangdong Province, and Mr.

Zhou Weisen, Deputy Director of Dongguan Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau. GM of Shengyi, Mr. Liu Shufeng, and Ms. Tang Fuyun of Department of Legal Affairs, received the delegation.

The ITC delegation visited the Engineering R&D Center at SSL plant of Shengyi. Mr. Liu introduced Shengyi s development history, products and its applications, and also led them a visit to the lab. A comprehensive discussion on the 337 Investigation against Shengyi in 2008 was put up later. The ITC representatives gave detailed explanations for our questions on the 337 Investigation . By the end of the visit, the delegation visited plant 1 and plant 2 of SSL plant, and was impressed with Shengyi s conception on R&D and innovation and normative company management culture.
