Tasly won Top 100 Excellent IR Management Companies in 2006

On July 11th, Top 100 Excellent IR Management Companies in 2006 came out. Tasly is among the winners. It is an important award for IR management appraisal. The assessing activity is co-sponsored by Project Management Dept. of Nanjing University and China Security. The activity took the most authoritative IR evaluation system---Evaluation System for IR Management of Listed Companies as theoretical base, and gave comprehensive assessment to the competitors.

The system is composed by IR logic structural mode, which contains three standards: status standard, quality standard and management standard. Status standard is used to measure the status of the listed companies after IR management is conducted, quality standard is composed by quality communication and for revealed information, management standard refers to the company s organization and management.

Based on the above standards, the assessing committee collected information about professional database, annual report and questionnaires, and gave marks to each company.

It is reported that good IR management is extremely valuable to the listed companies. Good IR management could promote investors understanding and recognition to the company by way of strengthening communication between the two, and adopt rational suggests, improve operation mechanism, management system, core competitiveness as well as maximize shareholder s value. Besides, good IR management could reduce informational dissymmetry between companies and investors, strengthen supervising effects of investors on the managers.
