Tasly Group Won Prize for Innovative Enterprise from the Government

July 28th,2008, Ministry of Science and Technology, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), All-China Federation of Trade Unions awarded Tasly Group the Innovative Enterprise according to appraisal of the innovation condition of the enterprise in recent two years. There were 91 enterprises in all who won the prize this time and just two in Tianjin.

It was in 2006 that the three authorities organized appraisal of Innovative Enterprises in order to promote development of enterprises in innovation and speed up to set up the technical innovation system in China. Tasly Group was selected as innovative enterprises for future appraisal with the other 102 enterprise.

Through decades of development with Great Health industry as guideline and pharmaceutical industry as its center, Tasly has become a hi-tech group whose scope of business includes modern TCM, chemical medicine, biological medicine, healthcare products, functional food, covering the fields of research and development, planting, manufacturing and distribution. By the end of 2007, the total asset had grown to 8.5 billion RMB, and taxes accumulated to 3.7 billion.
