High-tech Enterprise Certification Enhances the Profitability of Enterprise

Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance, Zhejiang Provincial Office, SAT and Zhejiang Lcoal Taxation Bureau jointly pushed out new Management Measures of High-tech Enterprise Certification in April, 2008. The measures made new requirements on many aspects, such as intellectual property, R&D investment, the proportion of high-tech products of total sales etc.

. At the same time, based on the new Enterprise Income Tax Law , high-tech enterprises supported by State can enjoy a reduction of 15% on income tax of large degree, it would enhance the profitability of enterprises.

As a pharmaceutical enterprise focusing on R&D, Hisun spends over 8% of its sales revenue annually in research and development, which has reached the average level of international pharmaceutical enterprises focusing on R&D. In 2007, first international formulation finished production of process validation, first gene engineering drug entered into clinic stage, first discovered compound me-better, and declared 3 compound patents. So far, there are 95 patent applications and 30 patent authorizations, it has reserved 23 second sorts or above new drugs, the sales of new drugs covers over 60% of the total sales volumn, really carry out the virtuous circle of "production generation, research generation, development generation and reserving generation".
