1. HISUN Group was honored by Provincial Municipal Committee of CPC and Provincial Government as "Provincial-level Civilized Unit",HISUN Pharmaceutical was honored by Taizhou Government as "Top 10 Enterprise for Environmental Protection".

2. The company's 1,000tpa D-4-Hydroxyphenylglycine project was recognized by State Economic & Trade Commission as "Outstanding National Project for Technological Reform of the Ninth Five-year Plan Period".

3. On July 3, the company attended the "Exhibition of State-owned Enterprise Reform and Technological Innovation" jointly organized by six ministries and commissions in Beijing. Prime Minister Zhu Rongji visited HISUN's exhibition booth.

On August 3, the provincial Economic & Trade Commission held a roundtable on the Development Plan Outline for HISUN Group during the Tenth Five-year Plan Period at Hangzhou's West Lake. 63 Leaders and experts from the State Economic & Trade Commission, Provincial Planning & Economic Commission and Zhejiang University attended the meeting.

5. On September 23, Tomur Dawamat, Deputy Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, visited HISUN. He also wrote to HISUN in the Uyghur language, encouraging the company to rely on technological advancements to invigorate ethnic pharmaceutical achievements.

6. The company implemented the "Three One-hundred" project, i.e. introduction of ERP system, implementation of standardized management and establishment of share incentive scheme, thereby undertaking in-depth reform of the company.

7. The construction and completion of Phase 2 of Jiaojiang Thermal Power Plant project, household waste incineration project and 2,000 tons/day waste water treatment facilities project, were commenced successively, some of which passed inspection of environmental protection.

10. On December 13, Zhejiang Party Secretary Zhang Dejiang visited HISUN's Yantou Factory on the rainy day. He also wrote to the company, encouraging it to adhere to reforms and innovation in order to be known globally.
