CFHI and Siemens VAI Agree on Strategic Cooperation

In June 9th, CFHI and Siemens VAI reached an agreement on strategic cooperation at Fularji, China. Both CFHI s general manager Wu Shengfu and Siemens VAI vice president Heize signed on the agreement protocols. Thus, CFHI has become the sole strategic copartner of Siemens VAI in China. And henceforward Siemens VAI will deem CFHI as its first choice of supplier in procurement of complete set of equipments such as continuous casters and converters.

Since the year of 2003, in which the two companies started their cooperation, mutual understandings and trust have been gradually increasing and the scale of cooperation is progressing year by year. From four casters supply in the first year to more than one hundred annually at present, CFHI have manufactured casters for steel plants in ten countries, such as the U.S.A., Britain, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, etc. In 2007, CFHI and Siemens VAI extend some cooperation new projects such as converter.

Both the two leaders expressed their viewpoints that the two sides should make efforts steadily to improve cooperation and strive for a long-term development. Also project managers from the two companies exchanged their opinions on the ongoing projects in CFHI and global purchasing expectations of Siemens VAI during the meeting.
