Wu Shengfu and Cai Lianzhong Granted Mr. Lu Hongzao

On November 29th, in CFHI Business Hotel, Mr. Wu Shengfu (the President of CFHI), and Mr. Cai Lianzhong (the Vice President of CFHI) friendly met a visiting group led by Mr. Lu Hongzao, the President of Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Co., LTD.

Mr. Wu Shengfu briefly introduced to these guests about the general situation of CFHI s development, the strategic layout, the technology upgrading and the research and development (R&D) of nuclear products. He addressed that at present CFHI has had 14 contracts in hand related to the 1000MW nuclear reactor press vessels and the main forgings and CFHI is undertaking as much as more than 90% of the manufacturing tasks of nuclear press vessels and nuclear forgings. Mr. Wu Shengfu pointed out that CFHI endeavors to the project of building the international top-ranking casting and forging base and technology innovation of large castings and forgings nationalization. This project will be completed at the end of 2009 as planned and at that time CFHI will be capable of making 5 sets of 1000MW nuclear reactor press vessels and nuclear forgings annually.

During the interview, the two parties also changed ideas about the time schedule of the two sets of 1000MW nuclear power being made by CFHI for Fuqing as well as other specific problems.
