On July 26th, 2008. TBEA had successfully signed the turn-key project contract as the general contractor of the 5 power substation and over 300 kilometers power transmission and distribution constructions in the east of Sudan power grid, which the contract value was 94.19 million Euros. This pleasure and pride ceremony represented the second important cooperation with Sudan after the first 34 million contract which had been signed on June 14th. Sudan extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of China Mr. Mirhgani Mohamed Salih and the President of Xin Jiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Vice President Mr. Hu Wei, chairman of Board of TBEA Mr. Zhang Xin, Deputy General Manager Mr. Li Jianhua and General Manager of TBEA Import and Export Company Mr. Li Bianqu present in the ceremony.
This contract is another EPC turn-key project between Sudan Government and TBEA which is a profound development in TBEA s globalization.
East Sudan power grid project represents the good beginning of TBEA s PTD service to the wider African countries economy developments.
