On October 12th, 2008, the National Development Reform Commission awarded a board read National Extra-HV Power Transformation Technology Engineering Laboratory to TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd. on the 10th China High-Tech Fair. The lab is among the first batch of the national engineering laboratories in the power sector, and it is also the one and only engineering laboratory in the national power transformer industry.
