In the afternoon, June 4, 2009, President Emomali Rakhmon had a meeting with Mr.Wang Lequan, the member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, the secretary of Xinjiang Party Committee, besides, both of them attended to signing ceremony of 220kV Power Transmission Project from Luolazaer to Hadelong plus 500kV South-North Power Transmission Project complementation agreement between TBEA and Tajikistan Ministry of Power with total contractual value up to US Dollar 61.8 million. Chinese government concessional loan aided projects as the key component of China-Tajkistan commerce and trade cooperation are the auxiliary projects related to ongoing 220kV and 500kV power transformation and transmission projects on turnkey basis.
President Emomali Rakhmon sang high praise for the friendship between China and Tajikistan in meeting, in addition, he approved TBEA s outstanding contribution to China-Tajkistan commerce and trade cooperation, in particular the ongoing turnkey-based 220kV and 500kV power transformation and transmission projects.
