Cui Jie, Mayor of Changchun City, met the Israeli delegation of Oris and KGM, headed by Yuval Rabin, in Changchun Shangri-La Hotel on January 26.
Cui Jie extended warm welcome to the Israeli guests and introduced general conditions of Changchun City in brief during the meeting. Cui Jie said that Changchun is not only a major grain producing area, but also a place where mobile machinery is flourishing, with particularly fast development speed in automobiles and railway coaches and great market demand. It is hoped that the visit of this delegation will further enhance communication between Israel and Changchun City and promote exchange and cooperation of both sides in fields like railway coach, high tech, agriculture, etc.
Oris and KGM Groups from Israel mainly engage in the construction, operation and maintenance of light rail and metro, thus their main purpose of this visit to Changchun is to investigate Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd.
Yuval Rabinstated that the high-speed railway vehicles produced in Changchun City enjoy world-class quality and performance, he also hoped to strengthen the economic and trade exchanges between Israel and Changchun City through the cooperation.
