While participating in the seventh China (Changchun) International Automobile Exhibition, China FAW continues with the theme - "Quality, Technology, Innovation" used during the participation in the Beijing Auto Show. Today, it appears once again with a complete lineup of self-developed products in front of the people of its hometown. At the Automobile Exhibition, FAW's indoor exhibition hall is located at Hall A, Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The indoor exhibition area has 4,000 square meters, and the exhibits include 19 vehicles and 7 powertrains. The vehicle include Redflag review cars, EV electric and A00 concept cars, as well as Pentium, Xiali, Weizhi, Senya and other models in sales. FAW s outdoor exhibition area covers 1,800 square meters, and 22 commercial vehicles such as J6 tractors, urban fire engines and other vehicles from Liberation Corporation, Bus Corporation, FAW GM and Technology Center are displayed here. Two engines including CA8GV and CA4GB with international advanced level independently developed by FAW were successfully fired up on July 14, which indicates that the independent development technology of high-end passenger cars in China has been raised to a new level. CA8GV is an independent powertrain tailored for FAW Regflag L platform, which includes the naturally aspirated model and the supercharged model, meeting the current needs of energy saving and environmental protection. The engine uses the two-stage three-layer silence chain drive timing system and other advanced technologies, but also reserves the variable valve lift and closing cylinder control technology. The supercharged model adopts the double-column independent supercharger design, its power is as strong as V12, and it has more excellent fuel economy. The CA8GV engine is China s first high-end passenger car engine integrating energy saving, environmental protection and driving pleasure into one. CA4GB includes two displacements of 1.6L and 1.4L, to meet the demand of Pentium series cars on the autonomous advanced powertrain. This engine is characterized by a number of advanced technologies and innovative structure, ranking in the forefront among the similar products. |
