On Mar. 26, Mr. Tu Xingjian, Chairman of Invest Beijing International, held a meeting with Mr. Tony Shale and Ms. Ana Sharp, delegates of Euromoney Institutional Investors. Their visit to IBI is to discuss potential cooperative mechanism with IBI and to invite Mr. Tu, as a special VIP, to attend the 4th Annual China Investment Forum on May 31-June 1, 2007 in New York.
It is said that overseas investors are very much interested in investment opportunities in Beijing, especially those opportunities related to 2008 Olympic Games. Therefore, the organizer of the Forum hopes that Mr. Tu can deliver his keynote speech on those issues. Mr. Tu expressed his appreciation and thanks to the delegates.
He told the guests that he would be pleased and honored to accept the invitation and deliver such a speech if his superior leader approves his application.
