First Day, Good Order

March 1^st 2010 is the first day of the second semester of academic year 2009-2010. Administrative staff of our college went down to the departments and classes to inspect the working condition and situation. Party committee secretary Li Xiufeng, Dean of Huizhou College Yang Haitao, Vice secretary of Party committee Zhao Rixing and Li Shaochun, Vice Dean of the College Peng Yonghong, Lai Meiqin and Xu, Wanhong, accompanied by leaders from the administrative divisions respectively, went to each academic departments to check the teaching and learning situation.

Each team inspected the situation of the teachers and the students concerning attendance and the first lesson of the first day. They also had meetings with leaders of each department and were reported matters concerning teaching and learning tasks. In addition, they went into classrooms and got to experience the actual teaching and learning status of the college. According to the inspection, full attendance was given to all department leaders and teachers. Most of the students attended the first class except those with problems buying train tickets back to school or the ones who were on their internship. The teaching materials and plans were well prepared by the duty teachers. Classes were orderly carried on with full enthusiasm from both teachers and students. Textbooks were sufficient, and the equipments needed in teaching activities were working fine. The preparation of each department as well as the administrative divisions was carefully and sufficiently done, ensuring the orderly operation of the teaching and learning activities of our college.
