Teacher from HZU s Biological Science Visited U.S.A

HZU have carried out the Visiting Scholar Program since 2009, in order to improve developments of HZU s courses and faculty and develop high-level teachers to adapt to internationalization schooling. HZU selects and sends excellent teachers to famous university abroad as visiting scholars, expecting their learning of content of courses, courses systems and teaching methods could enhance HZU s teaching level and quality. On 10th July, Vice Professor YunHua Ding from Biological Science has been invited to the breach campus of Houston University for a 3-month visiting trip.

She mainly devotes in 3 aspects: firstly, take part in the researching of grape Pierse Disease biochemistry and molecular biology conducted by Faculty of Nature Science, learning the development and management of labs and ways to conduct undergraduates to promote science research; secondly, attending students public lectures, course discussions, SCAS teaching assessment and lab meetings; thirdly, attending lectures of professors from Faculty of Nature Science and exchanging opinions on teaching program, homework, examination and teaching assessment.

At present, Mrs. Ding s visiting goes well in U.S.A.
