SSPU signed cooperation agreement with George Mason University
On the morning of March 14, Signing ceremony for memorandum of understanding between SSPU and George Mason University was held at 201 conference room in the Library.
First, president Hu Shougen delivered a welcome speech and introduced SSPU history. Dean of School of Science of George Mason University Vikas Chandhoke gave a comprehensive introduction of George Mason University. Then president Hu Shougen and professor Vikas Chandhoke signed cooperation agreement. The two sides will develop in-depth cooperation in the student exchange and academic research. After the ceremony, the delegation visited SSPU laboratories of School of Mechanical & Electronic Engineering and School of City Construction and Environmental Engineering.
George Mason University was founded in 1954. It is a public university in Virginia and has solid strength in mechanical engineering, information technology, biotechnology and other disciplines.
Leaders of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Office and Academic Affairs Office as well as the deans from schools attended the signing ceremony.
