The Delegation from Hong Kong Visits SMU

On the morning of December 12th, Ms. Zhang Meizhu, Deputy Secretary General for Hong Kong Transport and Housing Bureau led a delegation of 11 visitors from shipping industry for visiting SMU. Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU and Prof. Kong Fancun, Vice President of SMU received the guests warmly.
The visitors were shown around SMU campus and held talks in COSCO auditorium. During the meeting, Prof. Yu Shicheng had a cordial talk with Mr. Frank Tsao Wenking, Chairman of IMC Group and other visitors. Prof. Kong Fancun briefed the visitors on the specialization and orientation of SMU education, as well as SMU development goals and the construction of SMU new campus. The two parties conducted further discussion over the prospects of shipping development.
