The Delegation of University of Manitoba

On Dec., 14, 2010, A delegation of University of Manitoba, Canada, came to visit our school with the guidance of Shou-Min Li, the deputy director of international affairs office of provincial education department, which received a warm welcome from our university.

The mission of the delegation s visit is to negotiate with our university about the feasibility of the cooperation programs, undergraduate education 2+2 . The two sides exchanged views on the collaborative model, time of cooperation, relative policy and process of declaring. Dr. James Dean, the director general of Manitoba s International cooperation and exchanges office, appreciated the achievements we had made in the field of civil engineering and took active interest in the cooperation on relative engineering.

The University of Manitoba, a public and comprehensive university, was set up in 1877 and a famous university in western Canada. This university is divided into 2 campuses and the major one covers an area of 274 hectares. Manitoba, the eighth best university in Canada, sets 60 many major and has more than 26,000 current students.
