On December 4th, the 2009 Youth s Alumni Gathering organized by our Alumni Association and the Administrative office was held in the International Culture Building in 1st north campus. This activity attracted more than 30 young schoolmates imbued with deep love for CNU, among which including the presidium of Student Union and Graduate Union , Graduate Team for Teaching, Functional Divisions in Youth League Committee, the previous backbones of the Military Band and the Art Group.
The Youth s Alumni Association was chaired by Liu Chang who was deputy secretary-general of Alumni Association and vice director of Administrative Office of our university.
At first, LiuJia, the secretary-general of Alumni Association and director of the Administrative Office, expressed the warm welcome and sincere greetings to the alumni, and introduced the results we had achieved in the process of reform and development in recent years, and expressed that our university would build more platforms for our alumni to communicate and strengthen the connection with Alma mater.
This year is the 55th anniversary of the founding of CNU. In order to make full use of the alumni resources, the Administrative office and the Alumni Association organized a series of rich and colorful activities such as sharing the alumni lectures, visiting the alumni, opening the alumni BBS and the like. These activities have won high praise from our alumni. As the major force, young alumni are an important power to promote the development of our university. Although the alumni, who participated in the activity, left our university for only a short time, they had already made some achievements in the fields such as the government, financial and cultural organizations with their intelligence and unremitting efforts. The Alumni Association and the Administrative office will further promote the work about the alumni, provide better platforms for more alumni, and make concerted efforts to promote sound and rapid development of our university.
