2009 Innovation Beijing Forum Held in CNU

On December 18th, 2009 Innovation Beijing Forum was held in International Cultural Center. Jointly sponsored by Beijing Federation of Social Science Circles, Beijing Municipal Science &Technology Commission, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Association of Science & Technology and our university, the forum was undertaken by Beijing Innovation Institute (Beijing Innovation Research Base) with then theme of Strengthening the manufacture-study-research cooperation and promoting the innovation of regional collaboration .

The opening ceremony was chaired by the deputy secretary of Party Group in Beijing Federation of Social Science Circles and the Secretary General Ding Li. The keynote speech was chaired by the head of the College of Political Science & Law in our university and deputy-director of Beijing Innovation Research Base Wang Shuyin.

The chairman of Beijing Federation of Social Science Circles Man Yunlai and the secretary of the Party Committee in our university Zhang Xue gave their speeches respectively.

This forum took scientific and technological innovation as its subject, emphasized on discussing the issue about the enhancement of the cooperation among production, learning and research so as to promote regional cooperative innovation, and focused on realizing its strategic goal to establish Humanistic Beijing, High-tech Beijing and Green Beijing made by Beijing Municipal Government with the aims of integrating the high-level academic resources, setting up an academic exchange platform, building up a sophisticated academic brand and serving for the development of science and technology in Beijing, all of which are of great significance to promote Beijing innovative urban construction.
