HUST Chairman LU Gang surveys SCUT

On April 21, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) delegation led by LU Gang, its Chairman of the University Affairs Committee, Vice Chairman OUYANG Kang, and Vice President SHAO Xinyu, surveyed SCUT for the purpose of learning about SCUT's experience and concrete measures in local economic & social services, and the university spirit & culture construction. Chairman WANG Yingjun and Vice President DU Xiaoming met the guests at Mingli Hall of Liwu Building of Science and Technology. Personnel of relevant departments attended the meeting as well.

At the meeting, Chairman Wang extended warm welcome to the guests and gave a brief introduction to the development of the University in recent years. The two parties also had in-depth discussions concerning concrete problems like teacher evaluation mechanism, and the integration of production, education and research. HUST Chairman LU Gang said that sharing a lot in common, the two universities have been on good terms with each other for many years. He expected to have further communication and cooperation with SCUT.
