On April 15, the curtain of 105th China Import and Export Fair (CIEF) rose, attracting guests from all over the world despite the global financial crisis. CIEF is an important internship base of our university. This year, 80 undergraduate students of Grade 2006 from School of Foreign Languages (SFL) attended the fair as interns, offering the guests professional services with enthusiasm. Several records were set in this internship: the largest number of participating students, longest period of interning time, and widest variety of jobs etc.
SFL students have provided CIEF with site-service as interns since 2002. Their outstanding performance received unanimous approval from the authorities of the fair. The practice in the special environment of global financial crisis can not only improve their specialized skills but also help them face crisis with optimistic attitude.
