Prof. Sun, Haiwei from University of Macau Visiting Jinan University

Dr. Sun, Haiwei, assistant professor of the Dept. of Math., University of Macau, paid a short visit to Jinan University from Oct. 21 to Oct.22 1, 2010.During the visit, he gave a lecture on The Fast Algorithms for Toeplitz Matrix Exponent and their Applications . His talk about the fast algorithms application on American options and European options price computing gave deep impact to all audience.

Dr. Sun was born in Guangzhou, he expressed his wishes to cooperate with Mathematics Department and to do some practical things for Jinn University. It is believed that his efforts will help the School in Computing Science to get more academic achievements.
