Changsha's Credit Environment Ranks First in Hunan Province

Entrusted by the Hunan Social Credit System Leading Group, Hunan University Credit Research Centre released to the public the results of the year-long credit environment evaluation on cities and prefectures at all levels of Hunan Province .It is revealed from the 650,000-word evaluation results that the credit environment in Changsha City topped among the 14 cities and prefectures of the entire province.

In recent years, significant progress has been made in improving Changsha's credit environment since the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and the Changsha Municipal People's Government intensified enforcement and supervision on contracts. The steady economic development, increased investment of the government, growing consumption demands of residents as well as the continuously improved local cultural atmosphere have laid a solid foundation and injected a considerable impetus to Changsha's credit environment to gain priority to the development at a macro level, according to Yang Shenggang, chief director of the project and dean of College of Finance and Statistics, Hunan University.
