Delegation from Howon University of Korea Visited TUT

From September 10 to 12, on invitation of TUT, a delegation of five from Howon University of Korea visited TUT. The delegation consisted of Cui Yongxi, head of the delegation and Dean of International Education Exchange Centre in Howon University, and other four delegates Xian Rongji, director of Sports & Guard Section, Cui Xiangguo, head coach of school football team, Zhang Yichun, secretary general of Spors for Korean University Students, and Yi Chunzi, interpreter on the delegation.

The delegation visited the history exhibition of TUT and main gymnasiums on the campus. They also visited and observed the College of Light & Textile Engineering & Art of TUT. With Vice-President Lv Ming being he chairman, people from units and departments of TUT concerned and the Howon delegation had a meeting discussing about their common concerns of academic exchange, sport training exchange, and other related issues, and subsequently reached the agreement of cooperation in the related fields.

TUT men football team made a great contribution to this event while they were visiting Korea. It is the first time that sports could serve as a bridge for the international exchange.
