A delegation of 26 from Applied Sociology Department of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology paid a visit to ECUST on March 13.
Since high value was attached on this visit from Hongkong and Macao Office of State Council and the Liaison Office in Hong Kong Special Administration Region of Central Chinese Government, the visit of Hongkong scholars was accompanied by the chief officials of those offices.
This visit to Chinese mainland of the teacher delegation from Applied Sociology Department of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology was supported and aided by Hong Kong and Macao Office of State Council and the Liaison Office in Hong Kong Special Administration Region of Central Chinese Government.
The visiting delegation were to learn about the policy and development on social service and ware fare and thus borrow some ideas on social service policy and practical work, with the hope of promoting the Hong Kong youth to understand better the development of Chinese mainland and strengthening their concept of being the same nation with the Chinese motherland.
