Denmark : Senior management changes at ECCO

ECCO’s Chief Operating Officer Mikael Thinghuus has wanted to step down from his position by year end 2007.
ECCO’s Supervisory Board regrets the decision and has at its ordinary meeting expressed a warm thank you to Mikael Thinghuus for an excellent effort the last 4 years. Thinghuus has made an important contribution to ECCO’s development and the company’s much improved results.
The Board at its meeting appointed ECCO’s Senior Vice President, Sales and Retail, Mr Flemming O. Nielsen a new member of the Managing Board. Flemming O. Nielsen has worked in several leading sales positions in ECCO the last 17 years.
ECCO’s Managing Board will after Mikael Thinghuus’ departure consist of CEO Dieter Kasprzak,EVP Jens Christian Meier, EVP Flemming O. Nielsen, CFO Annemette Nøhr and EVP Andreas
Wortmann.
The Board also promoted ECCO’s Chief Counsel Mrs Gerd Rahbek-Clemmensen to Senior Vice President with the responsibility for a new coordinating Management Secretariat. She maintains overall responsibility for the Legal Dept.
