An agreement was signed recently, by representatives of Czech and Chinese textile companies on protection of intellectual property rights.
Marked as the first deal of its kind in Czech Republic, the agreement was signed between Czech Association of Textile, Clothing and Leather Industry (ATOK) and Textile and Clothing Association of China.
The agreement will extensively help restrict the production of fraudulent goods and the two countries have decided to inform each other on the prospective violation of intellectual property laws.
Furthermore, the duo has also agreed on taking cooperative measures for resolving this crisis in their respective textile industries.
Counterfeit products have drained Czech of millions and most of these goods are manufactured in China.
