AARVEE DENIMS AND EXPORTS LIMITED (ADEL), India’s second largest denim maker has evolved a two-pronged strategy of pushing up domestic sales to bolster up earnings.
One is opening of company’s own retail outlets throughout the country carrying out complete range of casual fashion wears along with fashion accessories for men and women of the age 15 years and above.
The Company targets to open 100 outlets by the end of 2009. Secondly Company is tying up with popular domestic brands and feeding them readymade garments with their brands.
For two above strategies of pushing up of domestic sales as well as for exports, the Company is well equipped with necessary infrastructure. Currently Company is producing 7000 garments per day and targets 25000 per day by end of 2009
To this end, the company has begun negotiations with some US-based garment majors who can source both fabric and garments from ADEL .
The Company believes in the best strategy to enhance sales volume and the flexibility in “approach and attitude” as it is true that INR is getting stronger day by day but leaving vacuum in exports is not right policy.
In the domestic market, the goal is to increase sale volumes through launching company’s own brands and marketing them through its own exclusive show rooms at key locations in important cities across the country.
The company has launched the first fashion brand i.e “DE EXTASE” through its swanky exclusive show room in the city’s up-market and prestigious ISCON Mall on the Sarkej-Gandhinagar highway and is going to open another 4 outlets in Delhi, Bhopal and Jaipur before Diwali season.
“DE EXTASE" is designed to take one’s breadth away and make a high fashion statement. At the show room discerning customers can buy value–added designer jeans, capris, casual trousers, tops, T-shirts, sweaters, Eye Wear, Belts ladies purse, Wallets for men, women and teenagers.
A unique feature is that customers can also buy fashion accessories to match. Similar show rooms are coming up in Mumbai, Vadodara and Rajkot immediately after Diwali.
