The Italian luxury brand, Max Mara is on the verge to make its first appearance in India by September. The tie-up is with a Mumbai based fashion marker Kimaya.
On talking to Fibre2Fashion, Nirbhika Parsani, CEO of Max Mara confirmed about its debut in India and Kamiya would be the only store with the giant of Italian fashion.
Talking further on the project, Parsani said, “To begin with, Max Mara will be housed at Kimaya stores itself and it will be made available at various locations like Delhi, Mumbai and so on."
"Further plans are still under discussion while Kimaya Fashions is the only Indian company involved in this collaboration with Max Mara”.
However, revealing about its targeted customer, the CEO added “Our target customers are people who love and appreciate fine fashion. We are offering the best in luxury to people who don’t mind spending on the experience and who expect the best that there is on the market.”
Finally, Parsani talked about his expectation from this new venture. He said “we are very positive about the response that we expect from our clients on our new venture. India is very fashion conscious and the Indian consumer is more aware about their needs and desires. We are looking at this effort being a success”.
