A new product was introduced on the German market July 1, 2007: it is possible for the first time to integrate pure oxygen into a cream formula with NIVEA VISAGE Oxygen Power.
Fresh air is good for the skin, but in the everyday life it’s sometimes not possible to spend enough time in nature to give the skin enough of it. In order to promote and maintain the healthy, lively, and fresh appearance of the skin over the long term, the skin cells should be optimally supplied with Oxygen.
Within a period of two years, NIVEA skin researchers developed an innovative skin care system that exploits the reviving effect of Oxygen. Tests have proven that: Oxygen vitalizes the skin deep down and helps cells to regenerate themselves, leading to a complexion that radiates liveliness.
The new NIVEA VISAGE Oxygen Power line consists of 3 products: one product each for Day and Night Care along with a Cleansing Gel.
Target group: discriminating women who want to look radiant
The target group for the new skin care system is that of modern women between 25-35 years who juggle family and career, because sometimes today’s hectic lifestyle can leave even the most energetic women ‘out of breath’. They need a product range that delivers exactly the right care and restorative properties to the skin.
An integrated multimedia campaign with TV, print, outdoor, and massive sampling activities is planned.
In addition to the launch in Germany, launches are planned this year in prominent European and some AAA countries (America, Asia, Australia).
