On Wednesday, British Fashion Council, the owner as well as administer of London Fashion Week, was asked to improve the standards of selection procedure for model agencies.
The bureau needs to organize for the medical check-ups at the initial screening in order to put the appropriate model on ramp.
As proposed by the panel of experts, on examining the models, girls under 16 years should not be allowed to ramp at the London Fashion Week catwalks.
This survey deduced that the under aged need to be protected or banned, while eating disorder existed among the fashion models which could be due to the work condition that prevailed.
Moreover, models under 16 are gullible to sexual or other abuses when symbolizing a grown-up.
