ispo Group organises new summer event as “ispo SPORT & STYLE” on 8 - 10 July 2007 in Munich.
To do justice to its role as a trend and innovation platform in future too, the ispo Group is organising a new summer event in 2007.
In the past months, the ispo team led by Tobias Gröber has held intensive talks with specialised dealers and representatives from the industry, the sectors and the associations in all supply segments in order to coordinate present interests and objectives, to examine trends and developments for their potential and future feasibility and to develop new approaches together.
As a result, a new exhibition subject has been profiled and new core segments defined with a new division of the product categories accordingly. The newly conceived summer platform is called “ispo SPORT & STYLE”.
The new core segments are:
• ispovision
• sportstyle
• performance
• trends & innovations
The boundaries between sport and fashion keep melting away sport is becoming more modish, fashion is becoming sportier. Clothing habits are changing due to a lifestyle inspired by sport.
Take, for instance, the sportsmen and women who are no longer just athletes but lifestyle icons too with their own established position in the fashion scene like David Beckham, Rafael van der Vaart, Sergio Tacchini, Boris Becker, Maria Sharapova or Freddy Ljumberg.
This trend for which the ispo Group provided the appropriate platform four years ago with ispovision goes along with an irreversible development in society towards a more informal appearance, to be more sporty and casual.
People want to be less formally dressed, they want a much more casual appearance right into the business area. For the clothing outfitters in the area of sport as well as leisure clothing, there is strongly growing sales potential here which extends beyond and sometimes takes over from the traditional areas.
